I think I need to update again..lol.........

You know I am going to have to make myself get into this blog thing so I am posting more then once every 6 months or so...lol......

So since my last post...my little man has turned 4.....Ken is the manager of the shop now, which of course means even less hours at home BUT a step forward to fullfilling his dream of owning his own shop...I have another chihuahua but in the last few days lost one of my other babies...so I am at 6 dogs now and not getting anymore!!!!

So Andon turned 4 on March 7 and for some reason has decided he is suppose to pack his terrible 2's ( which we never had) and his horrible 3's ( which we did have) into his 4th year..there is not a title for this one....HE is doing everything he can possibly imagine to drive me crazy.....Are 4 year olds suppose to have an attitude? Oh wait he is all boy and all his daddy so I am on the screwed side there....lol... He is already into tattoos and has his own little tattoo gun and loves to give anyone who wants one a tatt!!! You know this little man has some crazy things about him but he is a wonderful boy!!! He loves eating veggies ( and I am not lying about this) he will pick fresh veggies over candy any day! He loves to read stories ( of course he doesn't read them but he likes to try...) pick up big words and try to join in on conversations....lol....

Ken is manager of Cowboy's Tattoo in McKinney Texas and of course is loving every minute of being there..now me on the other hand, well as much as I want to support his dream the hours are CRAPPY!!!!!... We live an hour away from the shop and he has to be there at 3 pm so he leaves here at abaout 1:30....of course that sounds great until you realize he sleeps till about noon....He then doesn't get home till..well the earliest during the week is 1 am and then on weekends he gets home at 3 am or later......CRAZY HUH??? But he is an amazing artist and I love to see him light up when he tells me about the newest tatt he did!!!!

I am trying to go back to school to get my business degree..I am going to Kaplan University online and starting April 15 I will be starting College Algebra and Marketing..doesn't that sound fun??? LOL...

Now I am going to try and figure out how to post pictures.....any words of wisdom are welcomed!!!

Our Adventure so far.........

I have never been too big on blogging but being that I have a family now it seems like a pretty cool thing. Plus I have some friends who I have been reading their blogs and it makes me want to have my own. So for better or worse, here we go...........

I met Ken in December of 2001 and after almost 2 years to the day we were married, Dec 7,2003.........We almost immediately bought our first house....and started our family with a blue heeler puppy ( Outlaw) and a mutt from the SPCA ( Rugar)......we own an acre of land so me being the dog lover that I am, decided to make our family much bigger..lol......I rescued a Shepard puppy and a border collie puppy......At this time I was working at Park Cities Obedience School in Dallas...Me with tons of dogs every day??? I was in heaven!!!!!!
The first year of marriage was going great.....we of course were madly in love and loving every minute of it........a little over 6 months down the road we had a great surprise We were pregnant!!!! ( that is a scary yet happy feeling).......We have learned in more ways then one that God has a plan whether you are expecting it or not...My Grandmother was dying at this same time and being able to tell my mom that she was going to be a grandmother when her mom was dying was the greatest thing. It sounds weird but it made it easier on the rest of the family. Plus it gave something for my Grandmother to hold on to and she was determined to see her great grandchild. SHE DID!!!!!!!!
On March 7,2005 we welcomed Andon John Miller into our lives........He of course was all boy from the day he was conceived..I had one crazy pregnancy.........almost 6 weeks of bed rest, 2 cm dilated at 28 weeks and pre-eclampsia........BUT that little man was OK the whole time and that is all I cared about. I was induced a month early .....I was induced at 1 pm and given an epidural sometime later.....IT DIDN'T WORK so I felt all of the contractions.......and finally started to push at 10 pm..2 hours later he was delivered by emergency c-section........1:15 am 5lbs 4 oz 17 inches long..........Now he is 3 years old and boy is he a handful!!!!!!
My husband has just transitioned to a full time tattoo artist.......his dream of 15 years.......and I am having to get use to it.......He is gone all of the time and I am not use to being at the house without him in the evenings.......I do have 5 wonderful big dogs and my newest little one, a 10 week old blue and white chihuahua, Gizmo.........so with Andon and all of them the house is NEVER quite!!!!
This is my life so far........the short version of course.......As this whole new adventure with being married to a tattoo artist gets going more I will post more.........
